WRS, recruitment specialists within the Mining, Oil & Gas, Power and Marine sectors, are launching a campaign early in January 2014 to recruit 25 new staff to join their UK based team, with a further 25 by the end of the year, doubling the size of the business within 12 months.

This recruitment drive is only the first step in their ambitious plans for the next 5 years as they aim to grow to £100M+ turnover, have 200 employees and consolidate their overseas network to support their sectors in the UK, Europe, North, Central and South America, Asia, the Middle East and Australasia. WRS celebrated their 5 year anniversary in September 2013 and since launch has experienced a period of unprecedented, organic growth, which has already seen their employee numbers grow from 5 to 54 and turnover exceed £21M. This growth has just been recognised as WRS has been ranked at number 8 in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, which recognises Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest growing sales over the last 3 years.

Mark Brown, MD of WRS, says: “This is an exciting time for WRS and our employees. The Energy Sectors (we service) continue to evolve at a rapid rate and the demand for technical skills increases daily. This presents a healthy challenge for WRS and our clients, which we provide for with continued investment in training and employee development. This has a positive impact on our staff retention (96%) ensuring we retain the technical knowledge and skills required to succeed in a competitive recruitment space.”
