Copper and gold explorer West Cobar Metals listed on the ASX on Friday, following the successful completion of a A$5.5-million initial public offering (IPO), and is set to start drilling on its exploration projects.

The newly-listed New South Wales explorer will hit the ground running and will start drilling at its flagship Bulla Park project in October, before shifting to the Mount Jack project before the end of the year.

Prior to listing on the ASX, West Cobar had applicates in place for licences at Bulla Park and additional licences at Cawkers Well. These had been granted.
