Name and Location
Wapiti rock phosphate project, British Columbia, Canada.

Client
Fertoz.

Project Description
Wapiti has an inferred and indicated mineral resource of 1.54-million tonnes grading 21.6% phosphorous pentoxide at a 7% cutoff, which has been calculated to a depth of 30 m along a strike length of 12.5 km.

The scoping study completed on the project is based on a staged openpit development and the recently upgraded Wapiti resource.

The study includes three stages in the proposed design, with an initial 7 m open-pit for the first seven years of the project at an average strip ratio of 1.6:1.

The study conservatively assumes a 75 000 t/y production rate will be reached in 2018, though it is likely this could be brought forward to 2017.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The project has a post-tax, unlevered net present value, at a 10% real discount rate, of C$20.1-million, and a post-tax, unlevered internal rate of return of 82.4%.

Value
Total capital required is estimated at C$2.7-million.

Duration
First production is targeted for 2016 and ramp-up to 75 000 t/y capacity by 2018.

Latest Developments
Fertoz is progressing the final permit approvals for the project and is conducting commercial discussions with potential offtake partners.
