Highlighted the company’s commitment to providing dependable power to companies, even those in the most remote regions of Africa.
“Vert Energy’s solutions service to the genset manufacturing sector, encompasses an extensive range of reliable electric power generation (EPG) components, which is enhanced by a technical advisory and support service, to ensure there is no interruption in power supply as a result of load shedding or mains failure,” says Vert Energy’s managing director, Grant Robertson. “This show, which attracted key players in the electric power generation and electro-mechanical sectors, was the ideal platform to introduce new products to the local market.
“Additions to the Vert Energy range are NSM single and three phase 2 pole alternators for portable power, as well as AC and DC 2 pole welders and permanent magnet generators (PMG). The PMG system for generating sets consists of a permanent magnet generator, a single phase inverter with an EMC filter and a regulation kit for engine revolutions control. This control system ensures a constant inverter output voltage if load variations occur. Engine performance is optimised and speed is adjusted according to the output load, reducing fuel consumption and lowering noise levels.”
AllightSykes MSGEN2 lighting towers, which offer over 50 000 hours of light per unit, are also new to Vert Energy. These robust mine floodlights are powered by Perkins 2 water cooled cylinder engines and only require re-fuelling every two weeks, on the basis of 12 hours of operation every night. Six 300 W LED low glare lamps produce 168 000 lumens, with no delay of warm-up or cool down time.
Also on display were Leroy Somer alternators, DEIF controllers; ASCO automatic transfer switches; API Covrad radiators and Avtron and Froment load banks, as well as customised control panels.
Vert Energy’s service encompasses on-site assistance, everywhere in Africa, with any electro-mechanical breakdown situation or with routine preventative maintenance procedures.
