A scoping study has demonstrated that the Trident mine has the potential to produce an estimated 230 000 oz of gold over an initial four-and-a-half-year mine life at an average grade of 6.7 g/t gold.

The project has an estimated internal rate of return (IRR) of 132% and a pretax net present value (NPV) of $246-million, with a payback of one year, at a gold price of A$2 700, increasing to an NPV of $276-million and an IRR of 145% at spot gold prices.
Payback is estimated at one year.
Capital Expenditure
A$36-million.
Planned Start/End Date
The project is targeting first ore in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Latest Developments
A definitive feasibility study is under way, which is targeted for completion in the second half of 2023. Regulatory approvals, licensing and construction are targeted for the 2024 calendar year.
