Tjeka Training Matters has partnered with Upat SA to provide quality training in the use of renowned STABILA levelling and positioning tools, fischer fixings and Milwaukee products.

Courses will be provided at Tjeka Training Matters’ various training centres in the country and through its mobile units by facilitators who are skilled and experienced in the use of Upat SA’s products.

Frans Toua, Chief Executive Officer of Tjeka Training Matters, says, “Upat SA’s STABILA, fischer fixings and Milwaukee products are synonymous with quality workmanship on construction sites. This is exactly what we strive for with our quality accredited training programmes and one of the reasons we were selected by Upat SA to provide customer training on the company’s behalf.”

As part of this partnership, STABILA, fischer and Milwaukee products will also be used in Tjeka Training Matters’ various skills paths. These include learnerships, skills programmes and short courses. In this way, Tjeka Training Matters will expose new entrants, including emerging contractors and small, medium and micro enterprises, to these leading and state-of-the-art products that are used extensively in the construction industry.

STABILA has designed and developed innovative, precision-made tools for more than a century-and-a-half. As the company’s official agent, Upat stocks the largest selection of STABILA levels, lasers and tape measures.

All fischer fixing’s products carry European Technical Approvals, enabling Upat SA to offer the world’s largest and technically superior anchoring system solutions. These include steel, nylon and chemical fixings for a broad range of applications.

Milwaukee Tools is Techtronic Industries Company Limited’s flagship brand. The company manufactures heavy-duty portable electric power tools and accessories, as well as hand tools and personal protective equipment for professional users. Notably, Milwaukee is also a global leader in battery technology, offering cordless solutions that range between the sub-compact M12, heavy-duty M18 and the world’s first MX FUEL range of tools. They exceed 280 battery-powered tool solutions designed to meet end-user needs on the jobsite.

Upat SA Marketing Coordinator, Jaycee Venables, notes that, “as a proudly South African company that has supplied premium quality products to the mining, construction, building and allied trades across southern Africa since 1983, we have a vested interest in the professionalization of the building sector. We believe our partnership with the Tjeka Training Matters’ team will not only assist with exposing people working in the building sector to the

latest product and tool innovations, but will also provide our Product Specialists with the opportunity to transfer their knowledge onto the upcoming generation of building professionals, artisans and trades people ensuring best practices are followed on jobsites across the country.”

Upat SA also partnered Tjeka Training Matters based on the company’s long track record of supplying quality accredited training services to contractors, specialist sub-contractors and various trades in the building and civil-engineering construction industries.

“Tjeka Training Matters will continue to nurture strong working relationships with leading participants in the construction supply chain to develop skills and competencies for zero defects on construction sites throughout southern Africa,” Toua concludes.
