Timber iQ – Design & Construction, a local timber trade publication, and a firm favourite in the industry, is gearing up in preparation for WoodEX for Africa 2014.

Following another wonderful reception at WoodEX for Africa 2013 and unprecedented support over the last few issues, the publication’s April/May 2014 issue is specially earmarked for the 2014 event, where advertisers will enjoy highly-targeted exposure in addition to Timber iQ’s regular national distribution.
“Having launched this publication in line with the inaugural WoodEX for Africa Expo, and having a shared core mandate to promote the timber and allied industries in South Africa, we are delighted to partner with WoodEX for Africa again, at a time and place where the advancement of the industry is top of mind,” says Billy Perrin, Publisher, Trademax Publications.

Building on a solid partnership over the years, Timber iQ’s ‘WoodEX for Africa Issue’ aims to offer invaluable industry insight, showcase beautiful timber architecture and design, highlight great products and services, and, as ever, connect the burgeoning timber trade of South Africa. Jennifer Rees, Managing Editor of Timber iQ, says, “We’re also really excited to announce that Stephan Jooste, Director of WoodEX for Africa, has accepted our invitation to contribute to this issue as guest editor. In addition to this being a first-time exercise in sharing the editor’s seat, this gesture signifies our commitment to our unified objectives in the industry.” Stephan Jooste remarks, "We have been following the growth of Timber iQ since the first issue and we are really excited about our partnership with this publication.

We believe that, with the support of strategic partners like Timber iQ, WoodEX for Africa will continue to grow into an excellent business and networking platform which will unify, develop, and grow the African timber, tooling, and machinery industries." WoodEX for Africa 2014 takes place from the 5th to the 7th of June at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.
