Company Announcement - For 84 years Syma Storage has been a leader in the design, manufacture and installation of large-scale storage and shelving products that cater for industrial and commercial applications. The companies high-end engineering and manufacturing standards has also earned them to be awarded with the first South African SABS 0157 shelving quality assurance rating. Their engineering systems and equipment has been the result of products and systems that stayed abreast with the latest world trends and ranged from expressly developed high density products like Mobile shelving, Mezzanine flooring, catwalk systems, Longspan racking and Gondola shelving to maximise storage space, reduce losses and improve productivity. Because their products conformed to international workmanship and design regulations it also has the potential to be distributed to Africa, UK, Germany Denmark and the Middle East. Their customer base included medical depots, universities, factories, warehouses, libraries, supermarkets and hospitals.

All of Syma Storage assets are available for purchase and will be sold by public auction on Wednesday 9 March 2016 at 11:00.

Some of the high tech engineering machinery includes an imported powder coating plant with Nordson spraying machines. This item is in 100 percent working condition and includes 3 lines for powder coating installation and is approximately 100 meters in lenght. It also has a metal treating section, cleaning tank, water rinse, passive tanks, drying section, spray booths, curing oven, cooling tunnel and 5 powder spraying machines.

There is a complete press shop and CNC punching machines as well as large quantities of press brake machinery, grinders, robotic welders and a band saw. There is machinery and equipment for special purpose sheet metal coil slitting and cut to length line.  The hinges and nail manufacturing area consists of a tumbler, dipping tank, 1980 Itamex 40 Ton, Kamiyaka-comet, HE 75 ton press, manual hinge machines, hinge manufacturing and assembly machines and curling machines.

There is a number of tool room machinery like lathes, grinders, bandsaw, press, milling machines, drill, welder and powder spray guns. There are large amounts of stock like racks, shelving, wires, coils, lockers, wood pallets and incomplete shelving. There are riveting machines, wire straighteners, tools, eccentric presses, geared presses, a cradle feeder decoiler, centre lathe, grinders, a high-speed press and hydraulic guillotine.

Some of the vehicles include a 2006 Hyundai H100, 2007 Hino 500, 2007 Toyota Hilux, 2007 Nissan bakkie, 2012 Toyota Etios, double and single axle trailer and forklits.
