ASX-listed coal miner TerraCom expects its coal sales for the full 2026 financial year to total 1.45-million tonnes.

The company initially expected coal sales from the Blair Athol mine to be 1.52-million tonnes earlier this year.

The revised sales estimate reflected the deferral of the final coal shipment that was scheduled to load before June 30. TerraCom explains a delay to a planned production blast over the weekend resulted in insufficient coal being available to complete loading before the end of the financial year.

The coal for the deferred shipment has largely been mined and is held in inventory. The shipment is expected to load in early July and will be recognised in 2027 financial year sales.

The company's planning for the 2027 financial year remains unchanged.
