The SMS group was established in South Africa in 1958. In 1973, Schloemann and Siemag merged. In 1979, we became Mannesmann Demag. In 1999, we became SMS Demag, and in March 2009, SMS Demag reverted to the name of SMS Siemag. Today, from our local offices in Morningside, Sandton, we service our clients throughout the SADC region.
