It is no coincidence that the majority of the world’s mobile crushing equipment is fitted with PT Tech hydraulic power take off (HPTO) clutch units as they were essentially designed to meet the unique challenges of this application.

PT Tech, a Timken-owned company, have for many years been at the forefront of innovative brake and clutch solutions for a wide range of tough industrial and mining applications.

The HPTO clutch is available in a range of sizes and as a wet or dry friction unit, but regardless, through an intelligent control unit, provides an impressive list of benefits not previously available.

It incorporates a push button start, it is self-adjusting for wear, can be remotely controlled, will monitor and report its system status, and significantly prevents operator abuse.

Sintech is PT Tech’s Southern African distributor and has been trained to fully support all their products from selection and installation to commissioning and ongoing service support. Sintech has a large inventory of spares and new units and a rebuild facility in Boksburg, Gauteng. Its technicians operate throughout Africa to offer the best in service and product training.
