JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed Sentula head of group transformation and human resources Patrick Modisane is set to step down as executive director effective March 31, the company announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Modisane, who would also relinquish his role as chairperson of the social and ethics committee, would remain at Sentula until the end of April to ensure a smooth handover.

Group manager for human resources and transformation Khumo Mphake would oversee the move.

Modisane was the fourth director to exit Sentula over the past month.

In March, Deon Louw resigned as FD and executive director, effective March 7. Sentula subsidiary Geosearch CFO Johann Lemmer assumed the role of acting CFO pending the appointment of a replacement FD.

Cornelis van Zyl also stepped down as independent nonexecutive director, audit and risk committee chairperson and a member of the investment committee to pursue an executive role in an unrelated entity.

Simultaneously, Kholeka Mzondeki resigned as an independent nonexecutive director and a member of the audit and risk committee to focus on other commitments.
