Project Description
Aris is undertaking a small-scale project to increase the processing capacity at the Maria Dama gold processing plant by 50% to 3 000 t/d using a previously acquired ball mill that is already on site.
The project further includes the relocation and upgrade of the facilities that receive material from Aris’s artisanal and small-scale mining partners.
The addition of the ball mill to the existing circuit allows for higher throughput and more effective use of the current facilities, thereby enhancing the overall gold recovery rate for all processed materials. This creates the potential to gradually increase gold production from 200 000 oz/y to 300 000 oz/y.
