SA Coal Mining widens year-end losses

JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed South African Coal Mining Holdings (SACMH) said on Wednesday that it expected its losses for the year to December 2013 to widen.

The group anticipated a basic loss a share of between 34.5c and 36.5c for the year to December 2013, a decline on the basic loss of 10.79c recorded in the prior year.

A headline loss a share of between 16.3c and 18c was expected for the period under review, compared with the headline loss a share of 11.51c in the financial year ended December 2012.

SACMH planned to release its financial results for the year on March 28.
