Project Description
The project comprises the Colnic and Rovina gold/copper deposits amenable to openpit development and the Cirestata gold/copper deposit suitable for underground development. The project has total measured and indicated resources of 396-million tonnes grading 0.55 g/t gold and 0.16% copper.
The results of the preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for the Colnic openpit – the initial phase of development of the Rovina Valley project – focuses on the exploitation of the deposit, which proposes to produce 1.67-million gold equivalent ounces over 12 years. Average yearly gold equivalent production is estimated at 139 000 oz. Gold production is estimated at 108 000 oz/y and copper production at 12.3-million pounds.
The processing plant will process an estimated of 20 000 t/d incorporating flotation and dry stack tailings deposition.
