Project Description
The Rocksteady project is located in Mutiny’s wholly owned Gullewa multimineral project licences, in the Murchison region of Western Australia. The project has an initial Joint Ore Reserves Committee-compliant inferred resource of 650 000 t at 54% iron.
A scoping study completed on the project calls for the Rocksteady hematite pit to be mined using the deposit’s old gold pit for ramp access. The plan includes the use of an 8:6 single-panel roster, allowing for maintenance and grade control.
The run-of-mine material will be crushed and screened on site using a crushing contractor, which will potentially produce four products, being a lump fines, and fines of 52% iron and 56% iron.
