Ramelius sets new production record

PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Ramelius Resources has produced a record 86 517 oz of gold in the June quarter, beating its guidance of 80 000 oz.

The miner on Wednesday reported that the Mt Magnet operation produced 61 161 oz of gold during the quarter, while the Edna May operation contributed a further 25 356 oz.

For the full 2020 financial year, the mine produced 230 426 oz of gold, falling within the adjusted guidance of between 225 000 oz and 230 000 oz.

At the end of the June quarter, Ramelius’ balance sheet remained strong, with cash and gold of A$185.5-million at hand, and a reduced debt figure of A$24.4-million at the end of the quarter, giving the company a net cash position of A$161.1-million.
