The XST series of centrifugal pumps, made by China-based pumps manufacturer Leo and distributed in South Africa by pumps supplier Raptech, features a robust design and is suited for mining applications that require circulation and the transfer of clean and chemically nonaggressive water or other liquids.

XST pumps operate on a 50 Hz power supply, feature a 95 m head, and deliver up to 220 m³/h. These pumps are able to pump liquids at temperatures ranging from –10 ºC to 85 ºC; however, models able to pump liquids ranging from –20 ºC up to 120 ºC are also available on request.

With a maximum operating pressure of 12 bar, the XST series pump has a mechanical seal that complies with DIN 24960 standards and is lubricated by an internal recirculated pumped liquid. A counter flange is also available on request from Raptech.

The XST range includes a variety of pumps that range from 0.75 kW to 55 kW, and from 1 hp to 75 hp.

The rear-entry feature of this product enables the impeller, the control valve and the motor to be extracted without disconnecting the pump body from the pipe. The motor meets IP54 protection requirements and is overload-protected.

Leo is the first Chinese pumps manufacturer to be listed on China’s Shenzhen stock exchange and has the only State-authorised technical centre for the physical and chemical testing of pumps and garden tools. Further, the company plays an important role in many critical fields such as mining, civil water supply, agricultural irrigation, industrial water treatment, heating ventilation engineering, power station construction and petrochemical engineering.

Leo pumps are sold in more than 140 countries and regions worldwide. The company has grown into the largest small-sized water pumps manufacturer in China.
