Project Description
A scoping study has demonstrated the potential feasibility of a standalone mining and processing operation.

The study is based on three openpits cumulatively producing 8.8-million tonnes at 1.11% lithium oxide over the 7.3-year life-of-mine for processing through a 1.2-million-tonne-a-year concentrator process plant.

This will result in the production of 193 745 t/y of spodumene concentrate with a targeted lithium grade of 5.7% lithium oxide.

Potential Job Creation
Not stated.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The scoping study estimates a base case net present value, at a 10% discount rate, of A$367-million and an internal rate of return of 40%, with a payback of 1.7 years.

Capital Expenditure
Preproduction capital costs are estimated at A$293-million, including a A$36-million contingency.

Planned Start/End Date
Construction is expected to start in July 2024, with first production targeted for January 2026.
