PASMA Working At Height Theatre Returns To A-Osh 2018

The PASMA Working at Height Theatre returns to A-OSH 2018 - Africa’s leading occupational safety & health trade exhibition - for a third year on 22-24 May 2018. It will provide a dedicated height safety hub for A-OSH delegates to access expert speakers, live demonstrations, and an opportunity to gain Continued Professional Development (CPD) points with South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh).
Organised by PASMA, the international not-for-profit authority for the mobile access tower industry, the Theatre operates in collaboration with safety organisations and the tower industry in South Africa. It promotes safety at height and the safe use of mobile access towers - portable and versatile products used for accessing height in a variety of industries.
As such, the programme covers a range of topics relevant to anyone involved with work at height, including sessions on:
• product standards
• live tower demonstrations
• work at height statistics
• BBBEE (Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment) Codes and their effect on industry and training And many more.
Commented PASMA’s head of international development, Sarah Nunn: “A-OSH provides a unique opportunity for us to reach the South African tower industry, safety professionals and those involved in work at height. In addition to sharing and exchanging our knowledge and expertise, it enables us to engage with organisations that share our values and wish to become part of the international PASMA family - either as manufacturing, training, hirer/dealer or hire and assembly members.”
PASMA representatives will also be on hand to discuss PASMA’s flagship international training scheme, which equips users with the knowledge and skills to build, work from, and dismantle mobile access towers safely.
With work at height playing a role in many different trades and industries, a visit to the PASMA Working at Height Theatre is a must for any delegate. For more information on PASMA, visit www.pasma.co.za. To register for A-OSH 2018, click here.
