Pan African Hydrogen Skills Conference

The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) would like to extend an invitation to media houses to attend the Pan African Hydrogen Skills Conference. The Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) together with the Chemical Industry Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) are hosting connected events for the Green Hydrogen Economy.

Some of the high-profile speakers led by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Dr BE Nzimande will include 2 international speakers from the Ghana and Namibia, leading members of South Africa academia, industry leaders in the hydrogen economy and government departments.

Details are as follows:

Date: 6-7 December

Venue: The Avenue, Two Oceans Aquarium, Cape Town

The conference, in collaboration with the DSI, the CHIETA has partnered with Impact Hydrogen, SANEDI (South African National Energy Institute), The Centre for Renewable & Sustainable Energy Studies at Stellenbosch University and more recently the NBI (National Business Institute).. This will have local and international media coverage, positioning CHIETA as an innovative SETA in hydrogen
