ON THE MEND: Earlier this month, Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) reported several recovery milestones in its handling of containers and automotives. TPT CEO Jabu Mdaki announced that the State-owned entity had broken 14 performance records in the last six months. “Some of the milestones were last seen ten years ago, including exceeding the 100 000 twenty-foot equivalent units mark in a single week – which TPT has already achieved three times in the current financial year.”
