Project Description
Nornickel Harjavalta is a specialist in the hydrometallurgical production of high-purity nickel.
The refinery produces nickel in cathodes, briquettes, crystallised salts and solution, as well as cobalt in crystallised sulphate and in solution.
Nornickel plans to increase nickel output at the refinery from 65 000 t/y to 75 000 t/y in the first phase and to more than 100 000 t/y in the second phase.
