The project is located 16 km north-west of Norseman, in Western Australia.

Project Owner/s
The project is a joint venture (JV) between Barra Resources (50%) and Conico (50%), through its wholly owned Meteore Metals.

Project Description
Mt Thirsty is Australia’s most advanced genuine cobalt project.

The project has an estimated Joint Ore Reserves Committee-compliant probable reserve of 18.8-million tonnes at 0.13% cobalt and 0.54% nickel, supporting the production of about 19 100 t/y of cobalt and 24 800 t/y of nickel as mixed sulphide over a mine life of 12 years.
