Project Description
Montepuez has a mineral resource estimate of 61.6-million at 10.2% total graphitic carbon (TGC) for 6.3-million tonnes of contained graphite at a cutoff grade of 6% TGC.
A concept study on the project has estimated that the project could deliver 100 000 t/y of graphite concentrate.
Based on a processing rate of 1.2-million tonnes a year, the project is expected to have a mine life of more than 60 years.
