MineWare adds Graphics component to existing Syncromine Software.
This article has been supplied.
Company Announcement - In keeping with its policy of ongoing innovation, MineWare is in the process of unrolling a graphical add-on for their existing Syncromine Software at South deep Gold mines. Currently Syncromine provides information coupling between various sources of information found on a mine , including production, costing, ordering, geological analysis, stores, production, planning, equipment control and efficiencies, and incorporating an HR module as well.
The system allows multiple reports to be compared on one central screen. This includes information drawn not only from different systems but also from different operations, at the touch of a button. The value of having information on one interface cannot be overstated, as it allows for full real-time control of operations.

With the addition of further Spatial capabilities, the Spatial database extension will allow for full 3D rendering of the work environment. Users will be able to import standard spatial formats such as Shape Files, Microstation design files and others, without losing any information.

Syncromine is the next step in the evolution of information access, allowing ease of use and sophisticated access to relevant information. Its ability to draw together and streamline information into one interface, will significantly impact the production of any mine in which it is implemented.
