Max Set To Transform Safety And Compliance Management

A new online competency management system, SkillsMAXsolution, launched today by SkillsDMC, could change the way Industry manages skills, safety and compliance in Australia and around the world. Nigel Carpenter, Chief Executive Officer SkillsDMC, said the new platform responds to Industry priorities and is designed to make worksites safer wherever there is extractives and civil construction activity.
“It is particularly relevant to Resources and Infrastructure organisations with multiple worksites. Not only does SkillsMAXsolution provide unparalleled access to global standards and competencies by incorporating the SkillsDMC Global Competency Framework, it includes templates for verification of competency,” Mr Carpenter said.
“Through our extensive industry engagement process, most recently at our Industry Leadership Forum in Perth last month, we know how critical verification of competency is to the safe and productive operations of a worksite. The fully customisable templates in SkillsMAXsolution can be used across multiple sites and geographic locations, optimising and streamlining a company’s verification of competency process,” he said.
“As new CEO to SkillsDMC, I am pleased to acknowledge that the launch of this new platform represents a realisation of our deliberate growth strategy into international markets started back in 2013 by former CEO and now Chair, Steve McDonald.” “The Australian Resources and Infrastructure Industry is constantly re-defining best practice when it comes to skills, safety and productivity – our new product is an extension of that, combined with knowledge and experience from our global partnerships,” Mr Carpenter concluded.
This innovative new platform contains:
- Global Competency Framework in the form of units of competency
- Skilling Profiles – define the technical and generic skills required
- Verification of Competency – tools and templates
- Worker database – identify and track your workforces’ skills
