Marula comprises two decline shaft systems and a concentrator plant. The mine’s concentrate is processed by Impala Refining Services.

The project will extend the life of the Marula mine by 17 years to the 2039 financial year, with an increase of about 20% in milling capacity to 2.4-million tonnes a year.
