The project is a 50:50 joint venture between Kidman Resources and Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile.
Project Description
The refinery is expected to have an initial capacity of about 44 000 t of lithium hydroxide or 37 000 t of lithium carbonate.
Potential Job Creation
The refinery is expected to create about 400 construction jobs and 150 full-time direct roles once in operation.
