Integrated global logistics company KWE announced the retention service and key expertise of Keith Horn Management Services to further their penetration developments into the Aerospace Vertical market, both in South Africa and globally. This assignment will run concurrently with other service retentions that KHMS has in place.

Richard Szabo, director at KWE says: “Keith Horn has chalked up numerous accolades throughout his business tenure, most notably in the supply chain and logistics industry. He is particularly known for his meticulous approach to managing the intricate demands of the aerospace industry and for building cohesive teams and network support.”

He continues: “we are especially proud to welcome Keith back into the fold of the KWE aerospace operations. He has been a heavy weight in the Integrated Logistics and Supply Chain Management disciplines for over 20 years, while serving in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry for over 45 years in key positions ranging from operations, sales and marketing, logistics and general management.”

Prior to 2011, Keith was employed at KWE in various capacities, but more importantly, that of Supply Chain and Logistics Director as well as managing the on-site O R Tambo supply chain and integrated logistics requirements of South African Airways Technical (SAAT.)

He has served on the Board of Directors of The South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF) in the capacity of Vice Chairman and Supply Chain Director and is also the SAAFF representative judge for the LOGISTICS ACHIEVER AWARDS (LAA 13) Competition, a position that he has held for the last seven years.

Through medium of his consultancy company, Keith is also involved in the development of end to end supply chain management solutions and training in logistics and supply chain management for freight forwarders, third party logistics service providers, importers and exporters.

He has studied integrated logistics and supply chain management at The Transportation Centre, North Western University, Evanston Illinois USA, The University of Pretoria and UNISA.
