Project Description
The Kango North project covers 400 km2, in the north-western Estauire province, located about 70 km east from the country’s capital, Libreville.
The project is well situated and close to all infrastructure suitable to drive mine development, processing and export.
Apollo is currently focused on evaluating a potentially significant direct shipping ore- (DSO-) grade iron-ore prospect – P1 – located in the south-east of the tenement.

Apollo has agreed to a farm-in joint venture with Zoradox, a subsidiary of a major diversified Middle Eastern group for its Kango North project.
Under the terms of the agreement, Zoradox can earn the majority interest in the project, which is 50.01%, by sole funding $750 000 of exploration and development activities during the remainder of the calendar year, and a further $3.25-million before the end of 2017. The two companies are progressing exploration and planning on ground geophysics, sampling and mapping, as well as a near-term drilling programme that will test potentially significant DSO prospects in the south-east of the project.
