Company Announcement - Trimble announced today the introduction of a Trimble Ready® factory option for John Deere GP Motor Graders. GP Motor Graders that ship from the John Deere factory are now ready for the installation of the Trimble® GCS900 Grade Control System, which can significantly reduce the cost and complexity of the installation for the contractor. The announcement was made at Trimble Dimensions.

When a John Deere GP Motor Grader is purchased, the option to install a Trimble GCS900 Grade Control Base Kit is now available. This base kit provides mounting hardware, brackets and an integrated wiring harness allowing a more seamless installation of Trimble GCS900 Grade Control System. "By providing a Trimble Ready option, our customers now have a solution that enables quick, easy installation of a Trimble Grade Control system," said Jena Holtberg-Benge, director of WorkSight ™ for John Deere. “Contractors are increasingly utilitizing construction technology on the job site, and this new option makes the installation more integrated and less costly for customers who prefer to use Trimble."

"The introduction of a Trimble Ready option for John Deere GP Motor Graders supports our commitment to serve equipment manufacturers and their customers with construction technology that can maximize productivity and profitability,” said Ryan Kunisch, director of global marketing and product management for Trimble’s Heavy Civil Construction Division. “By making it faster and less expensive to install Trimble technology, John Deere customers can now realize an even quicker return on investment from their Trimble equipment.”

SITECH®, Trimble’s global distribution network, provides installation services, personalized training and local technical support for Trimble Grade Control Systems installed on John Deere GP Motor Graders. SITECH dealers understand how to apply Trimble Connected Site® solutions across the construction site’s operations to effectively improve on- and off-machine productivity.
