JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd., one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-performance solar power products, today announced it has recently received JISQ 8901 Certification from TÜV Rheinland, complementing the JET and JPEC certifications JA Solar obtained in Japan previously.

The JIS Q 8901 standard aims to encourage the wider adoption of photovoltaic power generation in the Japanese market through an assurance system encompassing the design, production and product warranty of modules.
