PERTH (miningweekly.com) – A scoping study into the development of the Swan North and Swift deposits, at the Gum Creek gold project in Western Australia, has proved positive for owner Horizon Gold.

The junior on Wednesday said that the results of the scoping study were sufficiently positive to justify undertaking an in-fill drill programme at the two deposits, to increase the confidence in the resource.

The results of the drill programme will support higher confidence studies which will be carried out in 2020.

Horizon’s scoping study was based on openpit mining and toll treatment by a local third-party processing facility.
