A front-end engineering design (FEED) study has highlighted a technically and financially robust project.

The FEED estimates an operation with nameplate production of 2.45-million pounds of uranium a year, over an initial 11-year mine life.

The FEED study assumes that the process plant is developed under an engineering, procurement, construction and management contract.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The FEED has confirmed that the Honeymoon project is economically robust, with an internal rate of return of 47% at a $60/lb uranium price.

Capital Expenditure
Based on the FEED study, the total capital estimate for the development of the project is A$113-million, including a contingency allowance of about 8%, which is within 6.6% of the enhanced feasibility estimate.

Planned Start/End Date
First uranium is expected to be produced at Honeymoon within 12 to 18 months of the final investment decision.

Latest Developments
A final investment decision is expected after the completion of the Tranche 2 placement on, or around May 5, 2022, whereafter the company will immediately start with detailed engineering, procurement and construction works.
