Hillgrove Resources Update on Kanmantoo Mining Transition

Hillgrove Resources Limited is pleased to provide this mid-quarter update following the successful transition to the new mining services and operations at its 100% owned Kanmantoo Copper Mine in South Australia.
Long term contracts have been signed with Andy‚s Earthmovers (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd for the supply of fully maintained mining equipment, and with Roc-Drill Pty Ltd for blasthole drilling;
Two production excavators, one back up excavator and a fleet of 14 trucks are now on site and operating, along with various support equipment;
Four blasthole drill rigs are on site, with two additional permanent drill rigs being mobilised;
Recruitment of 74 new Hillgrove employees has been completed, with a further 24 positions to be filled in the next four months;
Pit mining operations are now at 92% of previous mining rate at 10 to 11,000 bcm per day;
Ore is being mined in line with the revised guidance forecast, with forecast September processing grade around 0.7%, and anticipated to increase;
Copper production is in line with the revised guidance after the implementation of the new mining services, achieving 885t Cu during the August changeover month, mostly from treatment of low grade stockpile feed, and with Quarter 3 on track to achieve its contribution to the full year guidance as shown in Figure 1 below; and
With 7,040t copper produced for the half year (refer to Half Year results), the full year production guidance remains 16,500t to 18,000t copper;
New mining operations at Kanmantoo have ramped up to previous mining levels as at mid-September. Long term contracts have now been signed with primary contractors Andy‚s Earthmovers (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd and RocDrill Pty Ltd.
