High Power Equipment Africa
Under the leadership of managing director Alex Ackron, High Power Equipment (HPE) Africa has established strategic relationships with key customers and service providers, including State-owned entities and blue-chip companies, to shape it into a formidable competitor in the earthmoving equipment environment.
HPE Africa is the sole distributor of Hyundai construction equipment in Southern Africa, a brand recognised worldwide for superior quality and advanced technology.
Established in 2000, HPE Africa distributes Hyundai excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers and backhoe loaders; recently delivering 10 specialised 26-ton Hyundai R260LC-9S excavators to Transnet port operations in Richards Bay, South Africa.
With its head office in Jet Park, Johannesburg, HPE Africa offers a full range of services to support its equipment through a national network of branches and dealers.
HPE Africa provides national technical support, with an extensive stock-holding of spare parts and a commitment to impeccable service delivery. HPE Africa’s highly experienced technical team provides exceptional after-sales service, ensuring limited down-time for equipment being serviced or repaired.
The company has also partnered with world-class brands McCloskey International and SOOSAN Heavy Industries, to offer customers additional high-value solutions for all earthmoving
challenges.
HPE Africa supplies new and certified used equipment and offer trade-ins on various earthmoving brands. Its workshops offer Hyundai-certified maintenance and repair services, as well as 24/7 after-hours support, and its stock holding includes a full range of original-equipment manufacturer spare parts and lubricants.
Additional in-house engineering services include:
- Bucket manufacturing, modification and repairs
- Welding services for all capital equipment
- General engineering
- Dipper extensions
HPE Africa is a division of the Capital Equipment Group, a subsidiary of lnvicta Holdings — the only company in South Africa to be rated in the top 100 companies on the JSE, 20 years in a row.
