PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Hannans Reward has reported a maiden Joint Ore Reserves Committee-compliant inferred mineral resource of 2.3-million tonnes at its Pahtohavare copper/gold project, in Sweden.

The resource estimate graded 1.7% copper and 0.6 g/t gold.

An exploration target of between two-million and four-million tonnes had also been estimated for the eastern mineralisation, with grading of between 0.3% and 0.7% copper expected.

“The resource and exploration target update represents the culmination of 12 months of historic data compilation and validation by Hannans at the Pahtohavare project," said Hannans MD Damian Hicks.

He noted that the company was pleased to have "hard numbers" around what mineralisation and additional potential remained at the two underground deposits, and to see a significant copper/gold resource at Central.

“We will look to build on the current resource at all three deposits, but the priority is at Central, where reverse circulation drilling has recently been completed.”
