Project Description
The project is based on openpit mining from the Swan, Swift and Howards resources and includes processing product through a new 800 000 t/y carbon-in-leach processing plant to produce an estimated 290 000 oz of gold over an initial six-year mine life at an all-in sustaining cost of A$1 209/oz gold.
Yearly production for the first four years is estimated at 60 000 oz of gold.
The project includes the construction of a new processing facility, associated infrastructure and openpit predevelopment.
Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The project has a net present value, at an 11% discount rate, of A$62-million.
Value
Preproduction capital is estimated at A$62-million, including construction of a new processing facility; an internal rate of return of 30% is envisaged.
Duration
The project will take an estimated 12 months to complete.
Latest Developments
Panoramic has started a detailed design and optimisation study, and is seeking indicative funding terms for the project.
