The government of Greenland has announced two major amendments to the country’s mineral licensing standard terms and conditions, including the postponement of the transferred outstanding yearly exploration obligations for all mineral exploration licences by one year.

The government also extended the licence period for all mineral exploration licences by one year.

Aim- and FSE-listed Bluejay has praised the government’s decision and said that it demonstrated the country’s support for its mineral sector.

While the company has no outstanding expenditure commitments for 2020, the various expenditure credits that it currently enjoys for various licences will be carried forward into 2021.
