JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed GBM Gold is focusing on securing approvals for its Harvest Home openpit mine expansion project.

GBM was completing the approvals processes for the development of a production pit at the joint venture Harvest Home project in Victoria that would extend the existing bulk-sample pit.

Contiguous with this, a selective programme of costeaning and in-fill drilling would build resource potential at Harvest Home.

A conventional drill and blast mining method using a hydraulic excavator and articulated trucks would be used, with ore to be hauled from the pit to a stockpile location on site for progressive transfer to an offsite processing facility.
