Focus on welding: Victor TechnologiesTM refreshes the Tweco® brand
Victor Technologies announces the refresh of its Tweco brand of welding torches and accessories, together with an upgraded Tweco Classic MIG Gun Series.
Chorley, UK,Victor Technologies today announced the redesign of the Tweco brand logo, which has already begun to appear on packaging and literature for the Tweco line of MIG welding guns, accessories and consumables.
The redesign of the Tweco logo is part of Victor Technologies’ brand focus and brings a clean and modern aesthetic to a brand that has been synonymous with welding for over 75 years: “The Tweco brand has a long and trusted relationship with end users, and we updated the look and feel not only to pay tribute to that heritage, but also to welcome a new generation of welders to the brand,” explained David Wilton, Vice President Brand Management - Welding Products, Victor Technologies.
To coincide with the new logo, the proven Tweco No. Series MIG gun platform is being upgraded and will be re-launched as the Tweco Classic Series. Enhancements include higher impact resistant materials, interlocking handle design for superior toughness, an angled trigger for a more comfortable pull and refined, modernized lines. The new Classic Series MIG guns will be launched over the course of the year, starting with the Tweco Classic No.4, an air-cooled MIG gun with a rating of 400 amps at 60% duty cycle.
The Tweco Classic Series will carry on the tradition of the Tweco No. Series platform, which has stood the test of time since its introduction in 1969. Millions of welders will be familiar with the way the paddle shaped handle of a Tweco Classic gun fits in their hand and enables them to manipulate the arc. With these enhancements, they will be able to benefit from its heavy-duty, industrial-grade performance for years to come.
