JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Negotiations between ASX- and JSE-listed Firestone Energy and potential funding partners were “progressing”, the coal exploration company reported on Thursday.

Firestone noted, however, that negotiations were not yet at a stage where it could make an announcement on the outcome. It now expected to be able to this only within the next week or two.

The company had previously expected to make an announcement on the outcome of the negotiations before April 26.
