Energy Fuels makes management changes

To bolster its management team during its current growth phase and expansion into the rare earth element (REE) industry, Energy Fuels has hired a new COO and CFO.

The US-based company appointed John Uhrie as COO and Tom Brock as CFO with effect from August 2 and August 8, respectively.

David Frydenlund, the company's current CFO, general counsel and corporate secretary, was appointed to the position of executive VP, chief legal officer and company secretary with effect from August 8.

Brock previously served as VP and chief accounting officer for Extraction Oil and Gas and prior thereto as VP, chief accounting officer and corporate controller for American Midstream Partners.

Uhrie most recently served as VP for metals, exploration and development for lead, zinc and copper miner The Doe Run Company, and prior thereto as president, consulting services of the Americas for RPM Global.
