TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Madagascar-focused Energizer Resources, which is developing the Molo graphite project in that country, announced that its president and CEO, Kirk McKinnon, had resigned on Thursday with immediate effect.

McKinnon, however, would continue to serve on the board and would also provide ongoing consulting services to the company.

The board also said it would complete a review of its senior management structure.

Energizer recently said a series of milestones at its flagship Molo graphite project, and recently updated mineral resources had led it to expect improved economics from a feasibility study currently under way, and due for completion in the fourth quarter.
