ELB awarded design and supply for Illovo Sugar’s Dwangwa Packing Facility in Malawi

ELB Engineering Services (Pty) Ltd (ELB), is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the design and supply for the sugar supply system for Illovo Sugar Malawi’s Dwangwa Packing Facility in Malawi.

ELB is providing the company with a new sugar supply system that complies with their hygiene requirements, provides them with additional functionality and reduces dust and product losses. The system has also been designed to allow for easier operation and maintenance of the plant.

This project forms part of Illovo’s continuing drive to meet and serve the quality requirements of its consumers.

Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is the country’s largest sugar producer with agricultural and milling assets at the Nchalo Sugar Estate located 80kms south of Blantyre in the southeast of the country and at the Dwangwa Sugar Estate located 306kms north of Lilongwe on the Northern Lake shore in the mid-central region.
