Dewey Burdock has total measured and indicated resources of 7.39-million tonnes with an average grade of 0.116% uranium. Inferred resources are estimated at 645 546 t grading 0.055% uranium.

The project envisages the production of about 14.3-million pounds of uranium over 16 years.

Key Contracts,  Suppliers and Consultants
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued the final permits for the Dewey Burdock project, advancing Azarga closer to becoming the next uranium producer in the US.

The EPA permits are the second of three major regulatory agency approvals and the final key federal agency approval required for the project, with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission having declared the project technically and environmentally sound.

Azarga will have to progress to finalise the state permitting process. The South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources had recommended approval of the key state permits, Azarga CEO Blake Steele has stated.
