New compressed air rental service launched
Compressed-air rental supplier City Air launched its long-term electric-driven air compressor rental service Air to Industry to complement its existing portable power fleet last month.
The service is directed toward the mining, industrial and manufacturing sectors.
City Air MD Brian Shekleton says the benefits of the service include saving capital and assisting companies with their cash flow, adding that customers who use this service have no capital outlay, and do not have to pay a deposit, while their fixed costs are known in advance as they do not have service or breakdown responsibility.
“It is a reliable and efficient supply of compressed air that helps increase production and eliminate downtime, enabling companies to better use their capital in the main core activities of their businesses,” he says.
Shekleton notes that some of the main attractions of this service include new, totally packaged Ingersoll Rand electric-driven screw compressors, the volume, pressure and quality of the air can be specified and that monthly rentals and value-added tax are deductible.
“The service offers clients peace of mind when it comes to an uninterrupted compressed air supply for their manufacturing, processing or mining facility,” he says.
Shekleton notes that, as a specialised compressor rental company of portable power, City Air uses the latest turbo-charged European and US portable diesel compressors. Its fleet complies with the rigorous emissions, silencing and fuel saving standards adopted in Europe and the US.
“City Air has become a preferred supplier by partnering with leading specialists in the geotechnical, corrosion protection, shotcrete, construction, pipelines and industrial industries,” he concludes.
