Lambson’s Hire has opened a branch in Lephalale (previously Ellisras) to make its services more readily accessible to customers in the Limpopo region. Buks Koekemoer, an old hand at Lambson’s Hire, has rejoined the company to manage the branch. “Our philosophy is to operate in as close proximity to customers as possible,” comments newly appointed  Chief Executive Officer, Devin van Zyl. “Customers have welcomed us with open arms, especially those based at Medupi, knowing that they now have access to reliable, top-notch equipment which comes guaranteed by our professional 24/7 support, backed by our own workshop.”

Lambson’s Hire has an industry-wide reputation for unparalleled customer service providing highly skilled personnel able to advise on the technical qualities of equipment most suited to individual, and often changing, customer requirements. The company familiarises itself with the specific requirements of contractors and related professionals and stocks a comprehensive range of equipment to ensure that all needs can be met effectively. “So though we will be concentrating on hydraulic tower lights, we offer the traditional range of Lambson’s Hire’s rental offering and will be doing both short and long term hire from the branch,” adds Koekemoer. “Our philosophy has always been that if it can be carried on a one-ton bakkie, we will stock it. Over the years, however, we have enhanced this offering so that if it can be towed, it will be stocked. Consequently we now also stock much larger equipment for hire, including compressors, tower lights and compact equipment, all of which will be part of the range available at the Lephalale branch.

“Since we aim to provide the most appropriate machine for every job, we cater for both small and large applications as well as individual DIY projects,” continues Koekemoer. “Customers know they can depend on the quality and reliability of our plant because of our unwavering ethos of equipment maintenance. Our own trained mechanics and service technicians service all hire equipment in-house.” All equipment is fully compliant with the regulations stipulated in the Health and Safety Act. Lambson’s Hire has a BBBEE Level 5 accreditation rating and has been operating in South Africa since March 1980.
