Lambson's Hire  (0.04 MB)

Adding to the versatility of its skid steer and front end loader fleet, Lambson’s Hire has included broom attachments to its rental offering. These attachments are suitable for use on the Wacker Neuson 350 front end loader or on a skid steer loader.

There are two model widths available, to suit a variety of locations and applications: 1 550 mm and
1 850 mm, weighing 150 and 170 kg respectively. The 520 mm diameter of the main brush provides sweeping operations at 100 r.p.m. with a maximum capability of 150 r.p.m.. These attachments have a main brush made of polypropylene. This material has excellent stiffness when wet and is inert to most solvents, oils, acids or chemicals as well as being fungus resistant. Polypropylene offers an outstanding lifetime and is ideal for use in heavy duty applications.

According to Rohan Lambson, executive director of Lambson’s Hire, these sweeping attachments are ideal for use on roadworks projects or in large parks, with extensive pathways. Skid steer and front end loader broom attachments are the ideal solution for projects that do not require a dedicated mechanised road sweeper truck, but are too large for a manual pedestrian sweeper.“Feedback from the market indicated that, in addition to standard loader attachments such as augers, buckets and forks, there was a need for a broom attachment. Lambson’s Hire is dedicated to making the work environment more productive and cost effective by the introduction of new products,” Lambson concludes.
